Flowent is an AI-powered language learning platform that provides real-time voice conversation practice, scenario-based roleplay, structured courses, and progress analytics. The service is designed for individual learners and educational institutions.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Flowent is intended for users aged 16 and older. If you are younger, contact us with your parent or guardian and school before creating an account.
• If you are using Flowent through an educational institution, your instructor may have access to your practice session summaries and progress data as described in our Privacy Policy.

• Flowent uses external AI services to support conversation practice, feedback, and lesson tools. Speaking data and teacher-provided lesson materials may be processed for these features. AI-generated responses and scores can be inaccurate.
• Flowent is a practice tool, not a certified language assessment or accreditation service. AI-generated scores and feedback are indicative, not definitive.
• Lesson-speaking recordings may be saved to provide feedback. Transcripts, reports, and other learning data may remain in session records as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other accounts, or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers) without written permission.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use the AI conversation features to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content.

To ensure fair access for all users, Flowent may impose limits on voice practice time, API requests, or session frequency. These limits vary by plan and may be adjusted. We will notify you if you are approaching or have reached a limit.

• Instructors can create courses, assign lessons, upload teaching materials, and invite students. Institutions are responsible for providing their learners with appropriate notices and confirming they have a lawful basis for class use.
• Authorised instructors can review class progress and individual session records, including transcripts, task results, and feedback.
• Institutions using Flowent for classes must comply with their own data protection obligations (e.g., informing students about data processing).

• The Flowent brand, platform, and original materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party AI models remain the property of their providers.
• Content you create (custom scenarios, course materials) remains yours. By uploading it, you grant Flowent a license to host and display it within the service.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Data may be removed when you request deletion, a class or account is closed, or applicable law requires it, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We aim to provide a reliable service, but availability and AI-generated feedback can vary. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limits agreed with an institution belong in its separate contract.

You can request account closure by emailing contact@getflowent.com. We may suspend or terminate an account for a serious violation of these Terms. Data requests and retention after closure are described in our Privacy Policy.

The law and courts applicable to a dispute depend on your location and any agreement made with your institution. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

We may update these Terms and will show the latest revision date on this page. We will give additional notice where required by applicable law or an institutional agreement.
